Brief History
The land of India portrays a landscape of vibrant cultural heritage and spiritual mysticism. India's population is approximately 1.17 billion peoples which are comprised of one-sixth of the world's population. India has more than two thousands ethnic groups, and most of the major religions are born in this country.
From East to West and North to South, India is highly populated with Hindu and is one of the strongholds of Hindu religion. Gospel is not freely permitted and many are reluctant to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Radical Hindu is intolerant to the spreading of the Gospel. Many parts of North India are extremely affected by the poverty and illiteracy. Witchcraft and sorcery practices are found mainly in these regions. Gospel is closed to many places and villages in North India. Many Christians and gospel works are persecuted in these regions. We emphasis gospel work in these regions because peoples are dying every day without Christ.
